The Power Of Protecting Your Peace At All Costs.

One of the things that I have frequently brought up on this platform is the unpredictability of life. When it comes to living life, there are so many nuances and unpredictable factors that determine how we live our lives as individuals. I believe that this also applies when it comes to the word "peace". What exactly is "peace"? Most people equate peace to being a state of well-being that gives us both serenity and tranquility from turmoil. Generally speaking, peace is something that is associated with what most people want for the world. We often hear others say that we need to work towards increasing peace in this world. As there is so much uncertainty that exists within this world, the more uncertain of peace there will be. Though world peace is something that many of us wish for, there are other forms of peace that have to be considered. I believe that one of those forms is the peace that comes from within us as individuals. Just like war is the opposite of peace, there are many of us that are at war internally with ourselves. There can be so many reasons as to why a person may be warring within themselves. However, one of the biggest reasons for this often stems from our relationships with other people. Many of us feel the obligation to always go over and beyond for people and responsibilities that come along with life. The obligations that we have are definitely important and should be tended to. However, we must also understand the great power that comes from us protecting our peace at all costs.

What's up everyone? It's Brad H. back here to bring you all another installment of 'Brad H.'s Perspective'! I'm back to give my perspective on a topic that can hopefully be beneficial towards our lives. I hope that all has been good and well in all of your lives as of late. So for my soapbox this week, I'm going to be giving my last viewpoint on the NBA Finals. By the time the next topic comes out, the finals will be completed. I initially felt like the Golden State Warriors were going to win the series 4-2 over the Boston Celtics. I will admit that I have gotten a little nervous about that prediction. Boston has played extremely well throughout the playoffs, and that has continued in this series so far. I'm still going to stick with my original prediction of the Warriors winning, but I think this series is likely going seven games. I don't think anyone besides fans of the teams would complain about seeing a seven game series. It just means more basketball for us to watch. This has definitely been an interesting NBA season, but we've reached the end of it. The playoffs overall have been pretty good though. There were some upsets that made it interesting for sure. For those of you following the finals, I would love to see your comments on who you all believe will win. Now that I've gotten on my soapbox, it's time to go ahead and talk about the power of protecting our peace at all costs.

Now I spoke in the opening on how peace comes in various forms. For this week's topic, I want to focus on the individual peace that comes from within us. My reasoning for wanting to cover this as a topic is noticing over the years the lack of inner peace within people. This is something that is across the board as the world has changed so much over the years. While peace comes in various forms and ways, there are also different things and entities that can rob us of our peace. Since there is no way for me to know what brings or disrupts every individual's peace, I'm going to be presenting this from a general perspective. For those of us that may be lacking peace within our lives, must do our due diligence to determine what are the things that may be affecting our peace. Everyone's life circumstances are always going to be different and unique to the individual. Therefore, it is important for us evaluate ourselves thoroughly in order to remedy whatever may be disrupting our peace. This topic may indeed not apply to everyone since some of you may not deal with this as a chronic issue in your life. Regardless if it applies or not, I hope that each and every person that comes across this is able to take something positive away from it.

We all know that there are so many things in this world can rob us of having peace within ourselves. Many of those things are going to be circumstances that aren't necessarily within our control. What about the things that we do have control over when it comes to having peace? Though there are many factors that contribute to peace, I would dare say that other individuals are the ones that deplete peace in our lives. This means that most of us likely will have friends or relatives in our lives that affect us having peace. I mentioned earlier in the topic certain obligations that come with life often contribute to potentially disturbing our peace. Obligations come in many forms, but the biggest obligations that most people feel is to other people. Now that I've brought up the idea that family and friends can affect our peace, I am not implying that this is always the case. Some people will never know how it feels to have people close to them affect their peace, and that is a good thing for those this applies to. However, anyone that has dealt with an individual that has disturbed their inner peace will probably admit that it often comes from the people that they're closest with. The obligations that we feel towards these type of individuals is much of the reason as to why we keep them in our lives despite their presence robbing us of our peace. Though it may be very difficult to face, we always have the power to preserve our peace if we feel that it's constantly being trifled with.

So why is there power in protecting your peace at all costs? I believe from my perspective that inner peace is one of the most important aspects of life. A person will never be happy if they do not have peace within themselves, and the evidence of that is taking a good look at the shape the world is in today. Due to the fact that I believe inner peace is an essential thing to happiness in life, having it is a powerful thing in a world that seems to be lacking it. Now that we've established why I believe peace is so powerful, it's fairly obvious why it should be protected at all costs. The often challenging thing is that sometimes the obligations that have been brought up throughout this topic have to be eliminated; or at the very least cut back on. It is understandable that it can be difficult to let go of certain things and maybe even people that take away from your peace. When it comes to various circumstances where this applies, the easy thing to do is just avoid those circumstances. However, when it comes to individuals that are affecting your peace, it may be necessary to let them know how you feel. See if there is some common ground that can be reached where you and the person can interact without it affecting your peace. There are so many different ways to go about doing this, so every person needs to figure out what works best for them individually. The most important thing that I hope everyone takes from this is that your peace is powerful. Therefore, there isn't anything that should constantly rob you of having it. If anything or anyone is doing so, you have the power to react to that situation accordingly.

That is how we're going to end this week's topic here on 'Brad H.'s Perspective'! I hope that you all found this to be both helpful and enjoyable. Any questions, comments or concerns can be left down in the comment box. Before I end this, I want to say that for those of you that are movie fans, do yourself a favor and go see the film "Top Gun: Maverick" if you are able to do so. I know this should be in the soapbox section, but I just thought I would throw it in here at the end. I saw it earlier, and it is one of those films that needs to be experienced at a theater.. Alright, time for me to go now. I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend, and I'll get up with y'all on the next topic. Take care everyone!

Why Doing Right By Others Matters So Much.

"It's a dog eat dog world and that ain't no lie!" That's a line from the song Cloud Nine by the legendary soul group, The Temptations. The song Cloud Nine came out way back in 1968, which was way before my time. However, this particular lyric from the song holds a lot of weight; even today. Most of us would probably agree that we truly live in a world where it's hard to put a lot of trust into others. It's not because we don't wanna trust other people. I personally believe that it is in our innate nature to see the good in other people. However, so many people have been used and screwed over by others to the point where trust has become rare and invalid with a lot of people. I believe it's one thing to be with way with complete strangers. It does take a level of comfort and familiarity to develop trust for someone that you may not know well. However, it's another thing when we have this cloud of suspicion around people that you shouldn't have to. Yes, I am talking about friends and family here; the very people that you should always be able to feel comfortable around. My logic behind this does not apply to every single family and friend dynamic that exists. That being said though, we cannot just ignore the fact that sometimes the people that we should be doing right by are the ones that we use and abuse the most. I personally do not agree with this, and I think it is indicative of how much our society has decayed over time. It's an age old adage that you should always do right by others that do right by you, but those are principles that our society has seemingly forgotten about.

Hey, what's good folks! This is Brad H. here to once again bring you all another installment of 'Brad H.'s Perspective'! I am here to hopefully bring a bit of inspiration that can hopefully serve us all on our life's journey. I hope you all have been doing good since the last topic. So for my soapbox this week, I'm going to give my perspective on the MLB Playoffs that started this week. I am currently watching game 2 of the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Fransisco Giants. We had some pretty exciting wild card games earlier this week with the Dodgers and Boston Red Sox winning their games. I'm just going to really quick give my thoughts on who I believe will be winning these first round series. Though the Giants are currently up 1-0 on the Dodgers, it looks like the Dodgers will have it even after tonight. I believe the Dodgers will win this series. The Milwaukee Brewers are currently up 1-0 on Atlanta Braves after their victory today. The Braves are good, but with the injuries they have I believe the Brewers will win this series. The Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays are currently even at 1-1. This is a tough one, but I think the Rays win. Finally we have my Houston Astros taking on the Chicago White Sox. The Stros are up 2-0, and I believe that they will sweep this series. At least that is the hope anyway. The coming weeks of the MLB Playoffs should be pretty exciting, and I'm looking forward to how it plays out. Now that I've gotten on my soapbox for a bit, lets go ahead and talk about why it is so important to do right by others.

Before we get into why doing right by other people matters so much, I have to begin by giving a disclaimer. Though it may seem as if I am implying that everyone in the world has the qualities of the people that we're going to be talking about in this post, this is not the case at all. I am coming from a generalized standpoint, and I am also using experiences in my own life as a backdrop for this topic. The goal for this week's topic is to hopefully inspire those that may not always be doing right by others to work towards changing their ways. I talked earlier about this world being a dog eat dog world. In a sense it is understandable to see how this world has is exactly this. The world has always been competitive since the beginning of time, but I personally believe that competition among people has grown exponentially over time. I believe that competition can be a good thing when viewed in the right context. However, as with anything else that can be overdone, too much competition can turn people into savages. Hence is why we get the phrase dog eat dog being thrown out there throughout the course of time. So the point here is that we have to acknowledge that a dog eat dog world is just something that we have to accept. However, with that being said, at what costs does living in a dog eat dog world come at? This is what I am exploring when it comes to doing right by other people.

So right now I'm going to probably go on what will seem like a bit of a rant. Ranting is not what I'm aiming to do here, but in order for me to get the point that I'm trying to make across to the readers, I feel that I have to point out a couple of things here. The truth is that some of us right now have good people in our lives that we mistreat. We take their kind hearts for granted and always assume that they're going to always be there for us. There may people that care for us that we look straight into their eyes and lie to them. Some of us have people that will give us their very last to help us through a tough situation, but when they need us we're ignoring them. Things like what I have brought up here is what people do when they have a dog eat dog mentality, and the sad part is that most of the times the people that do these very things play the victim role when the tables flip on them. Now I stated earlier that competition is a good thing, but it should never come at the expense of someone you supposedly care for. Good people in general are hard to find nowadays, and if you're blessed enough to have a good person in your life, you should always do your best to reciprocate goodness back to them. It's really not that hard to do, but so many people over complicate things to the point where they cannot be fixed. I believe that this is where the potentially hazard lies when it comes to why doing right by others matters so much.

Now I went on in the previous paragraph about how many of us take people that we should be doing right by for granted. What happens when a person that has been long-suffering with you decides that they are tired of dealing with the way you treat them? Yes, you are correct if you said that they will no longer want to be a part of your life. From my perspective, this is why doing right by others matter so much. See I believe that when you treat people right that you rarely have to worry too much about them. Anyone that has ever owned a dog before will know that if you treat the dog right it will return its loyalty to you. I believe that people in general are the same for the most part in the sense that if you do right by a person, you never have to wonder where their loyalty lies. However, being that we're in such a decayed and dog eat dog world, finding true loyalty among people has become increasingly rare. The main point with this week's topic is for us to realize that the people you don't do right by may someday distance themselves from you because of your actions. If you are someone that is taking advantage of someone that you claim you care about, do the right thing starting right now and appreciate them. Don't wait until it is too late to the point where the relationship can't be mended. Finally, just because we're in the kind of world that we're in doesn't mean we have to be savages like so many other people. You always have a choice to do the right thing, and to do right by those that do right by you.

That's what I got for you all this go round, so I'm going to go ahead and sign off for now. I thank you all once again for joining me for another installment of 'Brad H.'s Perspective'! I hope that I was able to present this topic in a way that had meaning and understanding for you all. As always, if any of you have any feedback to contribute, please do so in the comment box. You can also hit me on Twitter if you'd like @BradrickH. I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend. A lot is happening all across the world so be sure to keep those heads on a swivel. See you all on the next topic! Peace and blessings to you all!

The Importance Of Doing A "Checkup" On The People In Your Life.

Checkup: What exactly is a checkup? The official definition of a checkup is defined as a "thorough examination". The word "checkup" it and of itself can apply to a wide array of things. If you happen to own a computer, a vehicle or any type of electronic device, then there is a likelihood that these things have diagnosed themselves via a checkup. If something happened to be wrong with your computer for example, the checkup that it gives itself will let you know that something is off. This same kind of logic applies when it comes to both our physical and mental health. The vast majority of us know the importance of getting a checkup when it comes to our health. A medical checkup is what can potentially warn us of possible health related problems that we could face in the future. The bottom line is that a checkup in the grand scheme of life is something that is necessary to keep ourselves healthy. Now I mentioned that a checkup can apply to a wide array of things. In certain aspects of life, a checkup can probably be done on nearly anything that has some form of bearing in our lives. I already brought up how a physical checkup is important for both our physical and mental well-being, but there is a large aspect of health that many people fail draw attention to, which is other people. I personally believe that many of us underestimate how the people in our lives can have on our health from a both a physical and emotional standpoint. For that reason, one of the most important types of checkup that many of us happen to neglect is the checkup of the people that we have in our lives. I believe this to be vitally important, and I think it is something that we should engage in more often.

Hey, what's up everyone? Y'all already know who it is and what time it is! However, just in case you don't, this is Brad H. coming back at you all once again with another installment of 'Brad H.'s Perspective'! I'm back in the mix once again to give my personal perspective on a topic that I've been pondering on as of late. My hope is that the topic that I address is something that will serve as a bit of inspiration for us all to keep on moving forward. So now is the section where I talk about something besides the topic for this week. All you NBA fans out there already know what time it is! IT'S PLAYOFF TIME BABY! Yes indeed the NBA playoffs kick off later on today, and ya boy is pretty excited. I don't have a lot of time to run down the entire playoffs, but I'm going to give some quick predictions on the series taking place in the first round. So 1 and 8 in the Western Conference is the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. I see a Warriors sweep in that one. 2 and 7 is the Denver Nuggets and my San Antonio Spurs. I think the Spurs win two games, but I see Denver taking the series. Of course I hope I'm wrong about that. Three and 6 is the Portland Trailblazers and Oklahoma City Thunder. I think this is a bit of a toss up, but I'll go with OKC due to Portland losing Jusef Nurkic. Four and 5 is the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz. I think the Rockets win this one. Onto the Eastern Conference where 1 and 8 is the Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons. I think the Bucks sweep this one. Two and 7 is the Toronto Raptors and the Orlando Magic. I think the Magic maybe wins one game, but Toronto takes the series. The 3 and 6 matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets is going to be interesting. I think Philly wins, but much of this is contingent upon how healthy their star center Joel Embiid is. Should be a good series though. Four and 5 features the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers. I think Boston wins fairly easy. The Pacers losing Victor Oladipo to injury seriously weakened them. So those are my predictions for the first round. I wish I had more time to go more in depth, but this isn't a sports blog. I hope you all enjoy the playoffs though. It is definitely an exciting time of the year for us sports fans. Alright, it is now time to dive into this week's topic of the importance of doing regular checkups on the people in your life.

Now when it comes to having a medical checkup done, we all know that a physician runs a series of tests to make sure that we're good and healthy. What exactly does it entail when doing a checkup on the people in our lives? This is something that is subjective, and could be left for interpretation for whomever is doing the checking. However, from a generalized standpoint, I personally think that doing a checkup on the people in your life means evaluating what kind of impact their having on your life. I'm of the belief that many of us have people that we've had in our lives for so long that whether for good or bad, we just kind of grow accustomed to their habits and behaviors. I also believe that if you've become accustomed to the behaviors of others, you probably feel that you have no desire or need to do a checkup on people. I'll give you an example of what I'm attempting to reference to. Now I mentioned that both good and bad can be applied when it comes to being accustomed to the habits and behaviors of others. However, for the example that I'm going to give, I'm going to refer to something that is considered bad. Now picture two people that have been married for many years, and there has been some form of emotional abuse that has been going on for a long time in that marriage. While many people wouldn't tolerate this form of abuse from anyone, there are some people out there that would stay in that marriage because the emotional abuse has become natural to them to the point where they feel it is okay to accept it. Now I'm in no way saying that everyone would tolerate this, but we all have seen instances where people have tolerated things that where beneath them. That is just one example, but I'm trying to set up a picture of how easy it can be to become complacent with the behaviors of others.

Now why it is of importance to perform regular checkups on the people in our lives? Before I go into detail on the reasons why we should be doing this, I want to relate it to something powerful that I heard someone say on Youtube several months ago. This is also something that I may have brought up in a previous topic, but I'm not entirely sure at the moment. I'll have to go back in the archives and look, but what the person on Youtube that I'm referencing to said was the following; "The people in your life are either lifting you up or bringing you down; there is no in between." Now this statement is pretty simple and straightforward right? It is also something that most of us are aware of as well right? If it is indeed the case, then why is it that we tolerate those that are bringing us down in our lives? Why does it seem as if most of us do not appreciate and celebrate the ones that are uplifting us to become better people? I believe that because we are flawed individuals that have varying degrees of moods and emotions, we find it justifiable to tolerate what could be considered "in between". So basically if you have someone in your life that equally lifts you up, but also equally brings you down, then it balances itself out to the point where it is tolerable. Now while I do agree that we're all flawed beings, that doesn't mean that it is okay to be content with being in the middle of good and bad. Now as I have stated already, many of us become accustomed to how the people we're close to treat us that we just accept it. This is exactly why it is of importance to do regular exams on the people that you have in your life. Being associated with or having a history with someone doesn't justify tolerating them when they're not adding to your life. If a regular checkup is being done on these people, it becomes more easier to discern who is bring you up and who is bringing you down.

So we've established why it is important to have regular checkups on the people in our lives right? So how exactly do we perform these checkups that this topic is all about? From my perspective, the straightforward answer is to just evaluate how the people in your life make you feel when you are around them. Do these bring you joy and happiness on a consistent basis, or do you find that your spirits get lower when they come around? Are they encouraging you to become a better person, or are they beating you down on a regular routine? These are the kind of questions we have to ask ourselves when we're performing these checkups. Upon asking and answering these questions when it comes to those that you're closest to, you have to be able to make a decision on whether or not that is a person that needs to be in your life. Remember what I mentioned earlier about what the guy in the Youtube video stated, there is no in between. Now I do realize that there are some people such as family that you may not be able to totally boot out of your life, but if any of what I have brought up applies to them, we have to be willing to handle them with a very long handled spoon. Finally, I want to end this topic by saying that while I used a medical checkup as a comparison for this topic, the emotional and mental affect that people can have on our lives can become something physical. I'm one of those people that believes that how we allow people to treat us can trigger our bodies into various illnesses. We all know that something like stress can be the onset of developing high blood pressure and other potentially dangerous sicknesses. Just be aware of the people you deal with, because they can definitely play a role in all areas of your health.

With all of that being said, I believe that I have gotten the point that I tried to make across. This has once again been your guy Brad H. bringing you all another installment of 'Brad H.'s Perspective'! As always, I hope that I was able to convey this topic in a way that was both meaningful and understandable. I hope that everyone that read this can also relate to it, and if so, then I hope you're able to apply it to your own life. I'd like to thank everyone once again that came through, and feel free to leave feedback in the comment section if you so desire to do so. If you're on Twitter and you'd like to connect with me, you can find me at the handle @BradrickH. Well I'll see you all in the next topic, and for those of you that are NBA fans, enjoy the playoffs. They should be a lot of fun this year. Have a great weekend folks, and an even greater upcoming week! Peace!

Avoid The "Dream Killers" As Much As Possible.

Doubters, naysayers, skeptics; all terms used to describe people that have little to no belief in something or someone. We've all encountered people that have expressed doubts in us or our beliefs, and we've also been on the other side of the fence where we've expressed doubts in others. There will always be reasons for expressing doubt about various things in life and for a good portion of those reasons, those doubts will be justifiable. There is also another term used by many these days to describe the naysayers and nonbelievers. Many people nowadays refer to them as being "dream killers". While we can't control what others say or think, we can definitely control how much we're around them, as well as how much we reveal to them. From my perspective, dream killers should be avoided as much as possible.

Hello folks, and welcome to another one of 'Brad H.'s Perspective'! If you're giving this post a look at this moment, I want you to know that I really appreciate it. So for the topic this time around, we're talking about the importance of avoiding those people that have been coined as being "dream killers" out there. So what is the exact definition of a dream killer? Well to be quite honest, I'm not sure if there is a true definition for this term. However, what I do know is that a dream killer and a doubter are pretty much one in the same. They're almost like snakes; they come in different shapes, sizes and colors but at the end of the day, they're still the same scaly creatures that most of us dislike. Now with that said, there is also what I would consider to be a slight difference between your average skeptic and a dream killer.

Now in my personal opinion, a dream killer is a bit different from the standard doubter in that a dream killer is likely a person that we're extremely close to. A dream killer can come in the disguise of a friend, but they're often the people that we're the closet to and know us the best; our family. It's somewhat odd when you really think about it right? Sometimes (not always), the very people that we believe should be our biggest supporters, be the main ones that can hinder us from seeing our own dreams. It can indeed be an odd conundrum to process, but it is something that we see happening everyday in our society. So what is the biggest trait that a dream killer exhibits? From my perspective, a dream killer is someone that shoots down a vision that you may have for yourself, mainly because they cannot see it for themselves.

When I think of things that a dream killer may say, I think of something saying; "I don't think you should do that, it'll never work." How many times have we heard someone say something along these lines; "You're too old to accomplish that?" Again, these are the people that don't believe in your vision, because they're not willing to be open minded enough. Now I'm not implying that anyone that is close to us that may be dubbed a dream killer doesn't mean us well. I think we can all agree that most of our family and loved ones want to see us happy. However, in some cases, the people closet to us often put their own happiness ahead of ours. This is a price that comes at our own personal expense, and we're the ones that end up footing a bill called unhappiness.

One example that sticks out to me involves a boxing match that took place over 20 years ago. Back in late 1994, a then 45 year old George Foreman decided to seek a chance at the world heavyweight championship in the sport of boxing. Most of George's advisers, family and friends, along with the media thought he was going through a midlife crisis for wanting to fight a young champion in Michael Moorer. Michael Moorer was 19 years younger than Foreman at the time. As we know from history, Foreman went on to defeat Moorer by knockout, and thus became the oldest athlete to win a major title in any sport. That mark has since been passed, but the main point that I'm trying to get across is that although everyone else couldn't see Foreman's vision, he was able to see it for himself. Just imagine how George would feel now if he hadn't followed his dream, and ended up listening to those that thought he was making a mistake. He probably would be living the rest of his life with a lot of "what ifs?"

Whether you want to refer to them as dream killers, naysayers, skeptics or all of the above, try to limit your time around these people as much as possible. Just because a person doesn't see nor share in your vision, doesn't mean its not the right thing for YOU to do. If you can see it for yourself, then that's all that ultimately matters. Never expect everyone to share your dreams and aspirations, but also be conscience and open minded enough to consider what those closet to you think. Finally, if you're one of these dream killers out here in the world, try not to hinder or limit someone else. Even if you don't agree with their dreams or something they want to do, try to support them and their goals as much as possible. They'll appreciate it in the end, and your support just may be what they need to fulfill their dream.

Alright, I think I've rambled on for enough time, so I'm going to end this edition of 'Brad H.'s Perspective'. As always, I hope there is some meaning and understanding gained from this. I thank those of you that have stopped by, and I'll see you all in the next one. Peace!

Live Your Life, and Let People Live Theirs.

What's good people? It's ya boy Brad H coming back at you once again. Ah, it's definitely been a hot minute since I last wrote. It's been almost three weeks to be exact. We've had quite a few thing happen since the last time I last wrote. The biggest thing is probably the presidential election. I'm not going to come up with any excuses for my extended absence, because I really don't have any excuses. However, the creative juices that sit within my mind have been splashing back and forth like a bottle of soda being swung back and forth. Oh boy, where did I come up with that analogy? Anyway, it's quite good to be back writing once again, and welcome to another edition of "Brad H's Perspective". Today's post is going to be titled; "Live Your Life, and Let People Live Theirs". Lets get into it.

For those of you that are fans of R&B music, you're probably heard with the group Jagged Edge. I remember a song Jagged Edge had back around in 2003 titled "Walked out of Heaven". There was a lyric from that song that went "If I continue to push, she'll just pull away". Now I know that the singer was referring to love in that song. However, that's not exactly what I'm referring to in this particular post. I'm mainly just using it as a comparison. I'm referring mainly to people and life. Believe it or not, many of us often push some of the people that we care about most out of our lives, because we're too involved in their lives. Lets take this for an example.

You can have two people that are friends with each other, and end up falling out because one of them wants to know the other friend's every move. They may want to know what's going on in their personal life, or always constantly calling or texting them. You may ask yourself, isn't that what friends and family are for? To be there for one another, and to know what's going on with each other. Well, yes it's very true that we want people in our lives that we can rely on etc. However, everyone has a personal life. Sometimes that personal life that includes things that people don't care to share with anyone. No matter how close you may be to someone, there will always be things that you don't know about them.

Some people may view this as a surprise, or even suggest that something is wrong with this. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. As free individuals, we are free to live our lives however we see fit. As long as we're not hurting anyone or breaking the law, you're allowed to be whomever you wish to be. The bottom line is that you have to live your own life, and let others live theirs. If a person doesn't want to have anything to do with you, move on and get over it. If you truly care about someone and they push you away, let them. If you're a good friend to them, they'll most likely end up regretting it down the road, and it leaves you with the option of bringing your personality into someone else's life that will appreciate having you. Remember this, a person that has faith in themselves doesn't worry or dwell on how others treat them.

So to sum it all up, live and let live people. Quite frankly, a person should be focused so much on themselves, that they shouldn't have time to pry around in others business. Know your limits on how far to dig into someone's life. You may find yourself losing them if you push and pry too hard. Let people be themselves. Finally, keep it moving if someone isn't interested in you. It can be challenging, but it's definitely possible to do. Well that's it for this edition of Brad H's Perspective. I want to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Thanks for reading, and we'll see you soon with another update. Brad H out!
