Don't entertain people who aren't worth your time.

Alright alright alright. What's good people? It's ya boy Brad H. coming back at you once again. Welcome to another edition of "Brad H.'s Perspective". As always, I appreciate all of you who take out time from your day to check out these blog postings. It's a rainy Saturday here in Texas, but it's totally fine with me. Just being able to wake up and be able to see that rain is a blessing in itself. Hope everyone else is having a great Saturday also. Alright it's time to get into this weeks topic. It deals with giving attention to people who don't deserve it. Lets get into it!

In this thing called life, we are bound to meet various kinds of people. Some of the people we encounter will be individuals that we connect instantly with. Then there will be others who will develop into good friends of ours. We also have a selected few with whom we will develop an even deeper connection with. This world is like a melting pot full of personalities and people with different qualities. Many of us try to see the good in people that we encounter, and I personally think that admirable. I will admit myself that I try to find the good in everyone that I talk to. However, it's a known fact that not everyone you talk to or become involved with, will be worth your time.

I simply make this point because it appears to be happening all too often these days. So many people are worried about and stressing over people who quite frankly aren't worth the stress or energy. Many people are placing other people, who don't even seem to respect them enough on too high of a pedestal. The same high standards and regards that you give to others, you should be giving to yourself FIRST! I mentioned this in a previous blog post, but it can't be stated enough. All things including your happiness, starts with you first. It's just amazing to me how some of the most beautiful individual's, especially on the inside allow their feelings and emotions to be cheapened by others, who just treat them any kind of way. It's hard to watch sometimes, and it needs to change.

We as a people need to have more confidence in who we are. Don't entertain people who aren't worth your time. Focus on being the happiest person that you can be, and then try to surround yourself with people who do mean you well. It may take quite some time to do this, and you may have to endure a period of loneliness. However, it's definitely worth the time. We have to weed out all of the weak links in our lives in order to find the genuine and sincere people. Time is valuable, and it shouldn't be spent on people not worth it. In closing I'll just say that people will come and go, and often times you'll be let down by others. Regardless to what others say about you or do to you, you can always rely on yourself.

Well that's it for this weeks edition of "Brad H.'s Perspective". As I've mentioned in previous postings, these words are meant to inspire all including myself. Nobody is perfect, and I'm far from it myself. Many of us are all in the same struggle, so we have to spread positive messages and encourage each other. I always find that I'm always encouraged when someone leaves me great feedback. Hopefully "Brad H.'s Perspective" encourages you as well. Well I hope everyone enjoys the rest of this Saturday, and we'll be back at it again soon. Till then; peace, love, and blessings to all.

Pick your battles wisely.

Yo what's good people? It's ya boy Brad H coming back at you once again with another edition of "Brad H's Perspective". As always, I want to thank those of you who take out the time to read these blog postings. I appreciate it very much, and the positive feedback that I've received inspires me a lot. Whether the feedback was left directly through this blog, or another format, I thank you all so much. I always enjoy reading what you all think. I know it's been a hot minute since I've updated this blog with new content. Besides the usually, I've been coming up with ideas to write about. At any rate, your boy is back once again. Alright lets get into this weeks topic. It deals with picking and choosing your battles wisely.

Now we're all aware that any person, who is of a sound mind knows that nobody can win at everything. Many of us believe that we know every single thing there is to know about life, which sure as heck isn't the case. Some of us believe that we're good at everything we attempt to do, which sure as heck isn't the case either. It's okay to have a positive outlook of believing that we can be successful at anything we try. Setting goals is always a positive thing. However, the truth is that no matter how hard we try, there will be some things that we just won't get. Every single human-being has something, or a host of things that we're talented at or passionate about. Those are the things that we should focus on becoming better at. We have to learn to wisely pick and choose our battles.

Lets take a few examples here. There are some people who are good at sports and athletics. There are others who may be scholars, or good at debating others. If you're not a good debater, then you probably shouldn't be debating with someone who is experienced at it. The logic of picking our battles wisely can be easily applied to our everyday lives as well. I'll give you another example. Often times, we will encounter people who have strong personalities. I'm in no way saying that having a strong personality is a bad thing, however, a lot of people like this tend to believe they know everything. People like this will often argue with others back and forth until they get the last word in. There are also times when you may have two people with strong personalities going at it. Those are the worse battles to be frank, and those battles are often no win situations. In these types of scenarios, walking away may be the wisest choice to make. Unfortunately, some people have too much pride to walk away. They view it as a sign of weakness.

Sometimes it's just wise to walk away and let things be. This doesn't necessarily mean that you've lost the battle, it just means that you're wise enough to know which battles to fight for yourself. Wisdom overcomes ignorance in the end. Unfortunately, I'm seeing the number of wise people decreasing, and the levels of ignorance among people seems to be on the steady rise. I suppose the most important thing that I would want someone to take from this topic is to stick to what you know. Like I mentioned earlier, everyone is good at something, so it's important to focus on the things you're good at. Work on expand upon whatever talents or attributes you have. Don't ever allow yourself to get caught up in what others think, or allow yourself to be pulled into a battle you're not comfortable fighting. Remember to stick to what you know, and don't let the little things get to you too much.

Well that's it for this edition of "Brad H's Perspective". I hope that anyone who read through this edition enjoyed it. Again, I apologize for being away so long. We all know that life unfortunately sometimes gets in the way of doing the things we enjoy. However, we will always be able to make time for the things we're passionate about. I hope to be writing you all again next week sometime. I'm still in the process of updating the hubs that I wrote from the challenge on Hubpages. I think I'm halfway through now, so keep staying tuned for those. Alright I'm out. Peace, love, and blessings to all.

Product Review: "Perfect.PUSHUP" (Basic).

Hello once again good people. Here is another hub from the challenge I participated in on Hubpages back in June-July. This was hub number 14 from the 30 day challenge. There isn't anything that special, or required a lot of thought in writing out this hub. It's just a review of a product that I own called the "Perfect.PUSHUP (Basic). Check out the review, and let me know what you think. Well that's it for now. Stay tuned for the upcoming hubs from the challenge. Brad H out!

Opinion topic: Five things that we allow to become our real enemies.

Opinion topic: Five things that we allow to become our real enemies.

What's up once again? This is Brad H back at you, and I'm presenting another hub that I wrote during the "30 hubs in 30 days" challenge that I took part in during the months of June and July. This is hub number 13 that I came up with. It was one that came directly from the top of my head, and required little to no research. Those are the kind of articles I always enjoy writing; mainly because I know it's all me. Anyway, the article is titled "Five things that we allow to become our real enemies", and it points out five things that we allow to become our real enemies. People aren't always our biggest enemies. It's the small things that we least expect that we allow to control us. Check it out and let me know what you think. Alright I'm out, so take care everyone. Peace.
